Heat advisory: Another hot day
From the National Weather Service:
The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a heat advisory, which is in effect from noon Wednesday to 7 pm Wednesday evening.
High temperatures in the 90 to 95 degree range across most of the area the afternoon, combined with dew points in the upper 60s to around 70, will bring heat index values of 95 to 100 degrees. Only locations along the Lake Michigan shoreline will see some relief in the form of a weak lake breeze this afternoon.
Precautionary/preparedness actions:
A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

And don't forget to give your kids and pets plenty of fresh fluids & water, and keep them indoors out of the sun. And NEVER leave children or pets alone in a car, not even for a moment. Even with the windows cracked a few inches and in the shade, it can take less than a minute the temperature to get to be over 150. Death from heat stroke can occur in about 4 minutes. To sound cliche' "Better safe than sorry."
