From the WCLO newsroom:

The Blackhawk Technical College Board is holding a public hearing on its 2009-10 budget Wednesday.

Andy McGrath, manager of grant administration and budget development, says the board is very supportive of the budget proposal because of the school's rapidly increasing enrollment. The total proposed equalized tax rate will result in about $175 in equalized property taxes on a $100,000 home. He says the property taxes will help provide funding for nine limited term positions. Two of those positions are externally funded.

The hearing starts at 6:30 at BTC.

BTC is out of control just like the state of Wisconsin, If the state had been run right in the first place we would not have a huge deficit.
