JANESVILLE--The Janesville Transit System's Kellogg Avenue and Nightside West bus routes will detour from their normal routes beginning at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 17. Southbound buses will turn left off South Jackson Street at West Delavan Drive, proceed east to Beloit Avenue, then turn right and travel south on Beloit Avenue to West State Street and resume the normal route from there.

The detour is happening because South Jackson Street between Elliott Street and Jatco Drive will be closed to through traffic starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, while the Union Pacific Railroad works on an emergency repair of its at-grade crossing on South Jackson Street.

All lanes are expected to be open by Saturday, June 20.

For additional information, call the JTS office at (608) 755-3150.
