A 19-year-old Genoa City man has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat called into Badger High School, Lake Geneva, this morning, according to a news release from the Lake Geneva Police Department.

Erik Z. Brady, 409 Valley View Drive, was arrested after phone records linked his phone with a bomb threat called in at 7:46 a.m., the release says. The caller left a voicemail saying "There's a bomb in the school."

Students did not attend Badger today, but a faculty in-service was scheduled. The building was thoroughly searched, the release says.

Brady confessed to making the threat, the release says.

Maybe he was held back a few years. He may had flunked his banjo class.

Sad thing is, I knew someone who graduated HS when they were 20. Dimwit was held back in kindergarten, 2nd(may had been 3rd) and 10th.

Bet he thought they couldn't track him down if he used a cell phone.....
.
The Federal Communications Commission has required that all wireless carriers be able to pin-point your location for 911 dispatchers. They say it will come in phases, but they're already getting pretty darn good at it.....
.
Case in point: I had just finished establishing the settings on a new cell phone the week before last. Put the phone in my pocket and commenced to taking the garbage out to the end of the driveway. I must have had a boo-boo with the new phone while it was in my pocket, as twenty minutes after I got done with the trash detail, a squad car pulled in. I had to quick shut the front door so the dogs wouldn't push their way out (can just imagine what he thought of THAT) and meet him by going through the garage.
.
"Hello? Officer? Can I help you?" (I thought he was bringing me news that someone had died. That's happened before in my life)
.
No, he said the 911 dispatchers had recieved a call from the end of the driveway. They had it pin-pointed to within thirty feet, literally. I explained what I thought may have happened and apologized profusely.
.
Not being used to visits from the police, my hands began to shake, remembering when a cop pulled in a long time ago with bad news.
.
I guess the point I'm trying to get across is that they can track you down and get you now, no matter what.....

Not all 19yr olds are out of high school yet and not because they are 13yr either. Yes he was a moron but age has nothing to do with it.

Probably wanted to spend the day with his girlfriend who is still in high school. He is old enough to know better, what a loser.
