Janesville replaces principals
JANESVILLE – Superintendent Karen Schulte is recommending that Janesville schoolteachers Kurt Krueger and Veronica McMahon fill vacant principal positions starting July 1.
Krueger is recommended for the position of principal of both Jefferson Elementary School and the Janesville Virtual Academy.
McMahon is recommended for the Madison Elementary School principalship. She would replace Principal Susan Masterson, who is retiring.
The school board will consider appointments at its meeting Tuesday night.
Krueger would replace Jefferson Elementary School principal Alice Wilkens Mann, who is retiring. He also would take over the virtual school leadership duties from Donna Behn, director of curriculum and instruction.

Way to go Kurt! Jefferson is gaining a great leader--though Franklin is losing one--and he deserves it.
