I'm not informed enough about the apparent problem with the Rock County Historical Society and its leadership. Henry Janes told me to ask. What is going on?

The Tallman family called it the horse barn. It housed horses on the lower level, carriages on the middle level, and hay on the upper level, if I recall correctly. There isn't really a fundamental difference in terminology. I believe that prior to research in the 1970s, the RCHS called it the "carriage house".

Wait just a minute. Is it a horse barn or a carriage barn?

A sarcastic LOL at garyprimer ...
.
I do imagine the economy, which has affected non-profits at least as severely as businesses, means they will have a good field of applicants from which to choose. The challenges of fundraising for the society, which the need for major repairs of the Tallman House and Horse Barn at the top of the list, will be substantial.

Could you elaborate a little more? I'm not sure of your point.

Just try to think back and remember when you last saw your new executive director. Another method would be to try retracing your steps.
