in 13 states those arent the same people. there are medical marijuana dispenseries for those who have ailments helped by marijuana. there is NO debate to the medical aspect of marijuana. i think ill actually think about that the next time i pick up my pipe. speakin of which....

thanx wesgonsin. i needed a good laugh. bafoon. next time you put a beer to your lips i want you to think about the thousands upon thousands of deaths caused by the same people who serve you that. you are no more responsible for those than pot smokers are for a dealer selling drugs to a kid. why are the deaths caused by heroin/crack/meth so much worse than the almost 500,000 that die EVERY YEAR from LEGAL alcohol/tobacco?? i really hope you have an answer for me on that but i dont expect you to. im shaking my head cuz i still have yet to see ONE logical response as to why the two biggest killers are the only two legal drugs...

It is like I always say, and I think this point has merit, that the same people that grow 'medicinal' marijuana are ultimately the same ones that would have no problems what-so-ever knowing their mules sold your ten year old child enough heroin, crack, meth, whatever to kill a full grown elephant. You just think about THAT the next time you put a torch to your goofy little pipe there, Mr. Wizard....

seven posts over a 5 hour span. how many others im not gonna count. you can tell me im false and continue to rant about how this convo has gone...again. but you dont have time to answer one simple question regarding your post?? what are the more problems legal heroin would create??

i said it as a joke but im more than serious for sure. not as good as seinfeld but i think thats how he made a career:) believe what you want...but when an adult CHOSES to take the calculated risk of high/harm by putting a drug, ANY drug, into their body it is THEIR CHOICE and should be THEIR RIGHT. uncle sam has no more right to tell us what to do to our bodys than he has to tell us what to drive.

so its MY fault you responded to my post?? got ya. are you my ex-wife just messin w me?? cuz that was her mojo too:)

Kid - I responded to your first post because while you say you were joking, everyone knows you were serious. The first poster made a comment regarding heroin and how horrible it is and how the dealers should have a taste of their own medicine. You responded with the usual free adults, uncle sam b.s. and continued to compare a bartender and one beer to heroin. The story is about heroin, and no I don't have the time to discuss it with you because you don't get it.

lmao. then why are you complaining about the convo being changed?? why even post on this blog if you are not going to tell me your opinions on heroin?? duh. you blast me for talking about pot...after you question me about it. then when you want to stick to the topic you actually dont. WHY DID YOU EVEN RESPOND TO MY FIRST POST?? is my love for pot new info to you?? is my pattern to talk about pot and the ignorance and hypocrisy of the current drug laws new info??

Kid - I've already explained my theories on heroin and why it should never be legal. More than once. Not going to go over it again. I've responded to multiple posts disagreeing and showing why it should never be made legal. Like I've said before, I can see some of your pot points and I've admitted to that. Heroin? Never. It would cause just as many if not more problems being legal.

Heroin would cause problems if it's use was made legal, but nothing like the problems caused by it being illegal now.

i didnt bring pot into this convo. again. i made a joke about a heroin dealer and a bartender. then was questioned about my 'recreational drug use'. at that point i am most certainly gonna defend myself and when asked about my 'recreational drug use'...well pots gonna get mentioned;) the reason these discussions get turned so frequently is cuz when those of us who see the logic behind legal drugs, post options to help...we get called idiots. i dont think ive seen ONE post as to how to actually help curb the heroin problem. maybe 'better parenting' but that would be about it. the only suggestion ive seen, whether you believe its logical or not, is to legalize all drugs and let the government regulate and control the supply. tell me spark. if youd like to discuss heroin, what in your opinion are the benefits to society by having heroin illegal??

What would make more sense for the blogs not turn into that discussion, is for you to leave the pot subject to the stories about pot.

there are also millions out there who have accomplished what i have while smoking pot...or drinking alcohol. i just happen to have the time and energy to discuss it;)

i agree as to the what heroin is. and im aware it will never be legal. and im also aware alcohol will never be illegal, nor should it. it shouldnt be in the same sentence as alcohol or pot. unless the question is which of these three drugs can u consume enough of to cause your own death?? answer: alcohol and heroin(fully aware thats not a complete sentence;)

if you dont want these blogs to turn into this discussion...wouldnt it make sense to not ask me questions or just not be part of the discussion??

kid- That's great that you've accomplished what you have by apparently smoking pot, but there's millions out there that have accomplished just as much, substance free. You're still inhaling smoke, so I believe you're causing some sort of harm to your body, but we don't need to get into that. That is where I get upset on these posts. When a story about heroin pops up, this turns into an alcohol/pot discussion by the people that smoke pot. Heroin is in no way, shape or form the same as pot or alcohol and it should never be legal. Don't even put them in the same sentence. The stories about heroin shouldn't even discuss the others. Heroin is horrible f'n crap and the dealers and users are seriously out of their minds and scary.

i understand why peeps think its a crock. would it be better if my substance was daily AA meetings?? or daily church sessions?? weve been living in the dark ages for so long regarding the TRUE benefits of THC as medicine. i realize you didnt bring up my kids or anything, but you said im false if i beleive there are no negatives being created by my pot consumption. and im telling you spark. there are none. nathan. nada. since i quit drinking i am in the best physical and mental shape of my life. i am UGHHHH SOOOOOOO CLOSE to being completely debt free it hurts:) i wont go off on how much better my life is now than before i started smoking on a regular basis. could it be the same if i had never smoked a joint?? sure...but its not. i have accomplished what i have and i smoke pot every day. why?? because i f'n can.

need vs want. thats where im good at what i do:) i have, obviously, an argument for pro-pot in almost all discussions. i have a more than legit claim to medical use, but i also have no doubt at this point i could go potless and theres no way im touchin alcohol or tobacco again. it becomes a need in medical convo only, really its just a want tho. i want to be able to relax with a relatively harmless drug and not fear persecution or prosecution...the same as if my choice was to consume alcohol. the need is more on my kids. they needed their dad to stop drinking and stay alive. done. now they need pot legal so i dont have to risk jail for simply USING a natural drug.

kid - You cured alcoholism with pot? You have to be kidding me. Sorry man, that is a crock. I know plenty of people who used to be alcoholics and have been clean for a long time by shear will power. Your right, alcoholism is a disease. One that can be beaten without pot. You missed my whole point. I never said a word about your kids, your family or anything else. I never would because I wouldn't do that. My point was, try getting by in life without the need of a substance. After all, you basically are saying you need it, not want it. Which is it? I believe it's a want because you constantly pull out all these theories trying to justify your use of it.

spark: you keep saying that you dont want to discuss this with me...yet you continue to reply to my posts. which is it?? my view of heroin is insane?? really?? cuz i dont ever remember posting my view of heroin. my view of heroin is that its one of the deadliest most physically addictive drugs someone could ever put in their body, ironically a description that could also fit for LEGAL alcohol/tobacco. and for the life of me i cant fathom why someone would want to even tempt fate with the drug. tell me how that differs from your point of view?? im aware there are other victims of heroin use. theft, family of those who overdose. id rather have my house robbed by a crackhead heroin junkie than my family taken out by a drunk driver. which one happens more frequently??

pots not medicine for me?? alcoholism is a disease i believe;) a disease i CURED with pot. and cannabis has been used for alcoholism in the past...im not the first. at one time cannabis was THE MOST prescribed medicine in the u.s. tho i was never diag'd clinically depressed, we ALL KNOW depression does not go far from alcoholism. arizona recently added depression to the list of medical marijuana uses. when should we have lunch spark?? you can meet me and my kids, my treat, and see how i run my house and my family and tell me where the FALSE is, and show me the negatives its had on my life. PLEASE?? if you want to meet me, and after seeing that, still believe that, i PROMISE i will stop smoking marijuana for an entire year and then re-evaluate my life. but if what i say is true all you have to do is make one simple post an say 'kid was right'. thats fair huh??

I DONT CONDONE HEROIN USE. i dont care if its illegal. my point is the same as it was from the beginning. for uncle sam to say this drug is ok and this one is not is HYPOCRISY. ALL DRUGS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO HARM A USER AND ALL USERS CHOOSE TO CONSUME THEM. make them ALL legal or make them ALL illegal. i dont care which route.

kid - Your last comment tells me you have some issues you need to deal with. You had that many problems with alcohol so you decided to switch to pot and think that's ok. You think because you haven't gotten busted, that it's causing you no harm. False. Why don't you try staying away from drugs period? No offense, but after you post comments about your past problems with drugs, it really gives your posts a lack of respect and your views on heroin are insane. You said before you smoke pot because of medical issues. Did you drink that much because of medical issues?

in retrospect you are correct. it was a stupid comment. stoning is a dumb idea. about as dumb as forcing a dealer to shoot heroin to the brink of death. and comparing the two drugs...stupid as well. you can legally DRIVE to a bar...get drunk and ILLEGALLY drive home. risking yourself, any occupants, and anyone else on the road who is in your vicinity. the ONLY potential physical harm from illegal heroin use is to the USER who CHOSES to use it.

involvedparent: im not sure which recreational drug you are referring to?? ive never tried or even seen heroin and know no one who has, i smoke pot regularly w out a SINGLE negative affect in YEARS of usage. i use to drink alcohol. i lost a good friend to drunk driving. ive been arrested 13 times for various drinking offenses including 3 owi's. so i think i am MORE than aware of the dangers of recreational drug use.

They should inject heroin dealers with enough of their own product to put them on the brink of a fatal overdose, then revive them. Mabey that way they would understand. Cruel and unusual? You betcha......
