MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee officials say an adult in the city is the first in Wisconsin to die from swine flu.

City Health Commissioner Bevan Baker said Thursday that the resident died from complications of the H1N1 virus, though the person also had underlying health problems that were not specified.

The federal Centers for Disease Control's latest update counted 17 H1N1 deaths in the U.S., which did not include the Wisconsin case.

I guess we should stop calling Chicken Pox, chicken pox too! I mean look how the poultry industry is suffering from that.

Did anyone read the news on BBC news about what they are doing to the pigs over seas? IT is a VERY VERY awful story! Very inhumane. But I do have to say, the "swine" part of the name is justified, being this is where is evolved. Not everything has to be so Politically Correct. And common sense tells you that your not going to get sick from eating pork, it is a live born illness....

I made all the kids throw away their Porky Pig movies and Miss Piggy dolls to stop them from getting Swine Flu. I won't even let them sing those songs from Charlotte's Web.

I've been doing my part to help the farmers out... pork chops, boneless pork ribs (with a side assist to the barbecue sauce industry), bacon, ham slices, pork chop suey meat for my baked chop suey, pork liver pan-fried in lard, pork roasts. Time to stock up the freezer.

Well, I really wish everyone were smart enough to know that "swine flu" is just a decades-old terminology for the probable origin, not a source of contagion, but I often have wishes like that disappointed.

I REALLY wish people (media) would stop calling this "Swine Flu". It's H1N1. Do you realize how many pig farmers are loosing money because of this?
