Demos, Pregont lead local track competitors

Led by defending Division 1 girls high jump champion Shelby Demos of Janesville Parker High, a number of Janesville athletes and relay teams could crack the top six at the WIAA state track and field meet that starts Friday at La Crosse. Janesville Craig's top contender appears to be senior JoJo Pregont, who qualified in two events. Local and area contenders are previewed.
