MILTON—Milton police are recommending one juvenile and one adult be charged with felonies in conjunction with a May 16 incident in which three juveniles overdosed on heroin in Milton, according to a department press release.

The requests stem from a two-week investigation into the incident, according to chief Jerry Schuetz.

The department also is requesting felony charges be filed against Lori Bone, 32, of Michigan and formerly of Milton, for failure to render aid and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The Rock County Special Investigations Unit assisted with the investigation.

Don't be criticizing the governor for letting drug dealers out of prison! I mean, unless you like paying higher taxes to lock up non-violent drug offenders. Think about it this way: every non-violent drug offender that is locked up takes up space in prison that could be used for a violent sex offender or murderer. There will always be drug dealers, we just need a better way to educate our children about the ramifications of drug use. That's the only way to get rid of the problem. It's basic economics...

Lori, I can only thank God that my son was not with yours that night. May God give you the stength to "face the music" so your son may learn a "lifes lesson" here. Both you and I had our sons dads die of drug overdoses. Why on earth have you continued to expose your son to this kind of behavior??? May God forgive you!!!!!!!!!

Is there anymore info regarding this? I just was wondering if there was another story that I could read to get more info? Pretty crazy that you go to school with someone and you never think that something like that would even cross her mind?

Channel 15 just had a quick little piece about this. They said the boys found "Lori Bone's" heroin stash and O.D'd... so evidently they were not "sold" the drugs... They snorted it and got ill. This Lori Bone has since moved to Michigan and is not cooperating with police. How can she "not cooperate"... can't the Feds pick her up? She can simply choose to "not cooperate"? She has a warrant out for her arrest! I'm confused!
