Doyle, Pawlenty to annouce river pact
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty plan to make an announcement Friday in Hudson.
Doyle's office says he and Pawlenty will tour the St. Croix River via boat and announce a cooperative agreement to clean up and maintain the river.
In January the two governors announced a joint effort between the states to consolidate and share resources in order to save money.
The news conference is the culmination of three days worth of stops Doyle has made in western Wisconsin along the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers.
Also on Friday Doyle planned to visit the Crystal Ball organic dairy farm in Osceola and Interstate State Park in St. Croix Falls.

I don't know about the Minnesota governor, but I've felt for a long time that Diamond Jim Doyle should be "sent up the river".

It's not an "article", it's a blog...and with the poor spelling and grammar consistantly posted in comments...it's true to form.
whoanellie, look at the punctuation of your comment.

I'm sure Doyle will find a way to tax the hell out of us some more, so the river can be cleaned up. Then the people who live off of our taxes can go and mess up the river again.

Here is an idea to save money. Quit having the governor go on these trips.
