SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Sheboygan police say they’ve arrested a man suspected of holding up four gas stations and two restaurants in the last few weeks.

Capt. James Veeser says the 32-year-old Sheboygan man was arrested early Tuesday morning, following the sixth armed robbery the night before.

Veeser says the man has served prison time for felonies in the past.

Authorities have said little about how they tracked down the man, except to say it was a cooperative effort by a number of law enforcement agencies.

District attorney Joe DeCecco says he doesn’t expect to file charges before Thursday. He says it will take at least one day to review the heavy volume of police reports.
