DARIEN--The Darien Village Board on Thursday voted unanimously to meet with Administrator Marc Dennison to talk about his employment status.

A date has not been set, President Evelyn Etten said.

The vote took place after a two-hour, closed-session meeting.

The board did not take action on other agenda items, which included a discussion about negotiations with fired Police Chief Steve DeVoy and a talk about appointing a special investigator for allegations against Sgt. Mike Maltese.
