From the WCLO newsroom:

The Janesville Alcohol License Advisory Committee has asked managers at Corvina's Exchange to work with police in an effort to curb incidence of violence.

The ALAC asked for a report on progress with a month. Deputy Police Cheif Steve Kopp says other taverns have found success with security issues by discussing problems with police. He says decision makers at Corvina's have avoided past invitations to talk.

The ALAC may consider a license suspension if the dialog doesn't begin soon.

Now that Spanky's is closed, I support the right of people (and folks) to congregate en masse somewhere else in order to increase their "odds" of finding "love" with intoxicated, unattractive, overly made-up, tramp-stamped, morbidly obese Caucasian females. THAT'S WHAT THE CONSTITUTION IS ALL ABOUT - that's what I'm saying! Let's thank our founding fathers, or perhaps more properly and timely, our founding baby-daddies!

Looks like Corvina's has replaced Quotes as the downtown hotspot for a skull bashing.
