A 75-year-old Beloit man is dead after a traffic accident Tuesday afternoon on Highway 11 west of Orfordville.
The Rock County Sheriff's office reports a trailer loaded with a Bobcat, being hauled by 29-year-old Austin Hauser of Orfordville, began to sway back and forth, crossing over the center line. The trailer struck a pick-up truck driven by Frank McIntyre. The accident was reported a little before 4:00 just east of South Potter Road in Spring Valley Township. McIntyre was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital in Janesville at 6:20 in the evening. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol is not suspected as a contributing factor.
The investigation does continue.

Hey doc, dont you have anything better to do then sit at home and criticize the gazette and how they handle a story? Find something productive to do and get off their cases. They are doing a service to you by bringing you the news. If you ever took the time to read the "before you post" section you would see a line that states..."Help us get it right. If you spot a factual error or misspelling, email newsroom@gazettextra.com or call 1-800-362-6712" Instead of pointing something like that out, how about you take the time to follow those simple instructions?
Good Job Kayla, Keep up the good work!!:)

doc: I updated this at 4:53 p.m. from simply saying traffic was delayed to saying the road was closed. Our first report was about an hour earlier than that.

How is this an "UPDATE:"? It's A first report of the accident and as of 7:00pm there is no Update, how ironic.........
