Walker raises money for possible gubernatorial run
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker has raised more than $400,000 for what could be a run for governor.
The Republican has not yet declared his intention of running against Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle in 2010. Doyle had about $1.4 million in his campaign account at the end of last year.
Campaign finance reports show Walker raised $272,000 in recent months, mostly from 128 donors who each gave $1,000 or more. His supporters include business and political leaders.
Former Republican Gov. Tommy Thompson and Wisconsin's three Republican House members planned a fundraiser for Walker in Washington, D.C., on Monday.
Campaign finance reports show Walker has raised $413,000 in all and had $360,000 in cash on hand at the end of last year.

There's a reason Tommy garnered 60% or more of the vote in each of his incumbent elections and 'ol Jimmy has yet to breach the 53% mark.

No worries, tax and spend Jim won't be here for another term...at least not if there's any sanity left in Wisconsin.

Yeah, things are all rosy right now with Doyle running the show... You should have said "goodbye" when HE got elected.
