From the National Weather Service:

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a winter storm watch, which is in effect from Friday evening through Saturday afternoon.

Snow is expected to begin over south central Wisconsin late this evening and spread eastward across southeast Wisconsin overnight into Saturday morning. Snowfall totals are expected in the 5 to 8 inch range, with greatest amounts likely near the Illinois border and near lake Michigan where some lake enhancement is possible.

Winds will pick up out of the northwest behind the system on Saturday night into Sunday, which could cause some of the powdery snow to blow around.

A winter storm watch is issued when heavy snow may combine with strong winds to cause major impacts to society. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts for updates and possible warnings.

i only like the snow for a little while, i like the cozy feeling of staying warm in the house after having spent all summer running around like mad outside, but then after a while it gets old and i don't want it to be around anymore

Look at the bright side. Snow is a boost to the economy. People buying snow shovels, snow blowers, hotel rooms/food while snowmobiling. Parts for their snow blowers, snowmobiles from a local dealer or repair shop, etc. etc.

I am not a fan of winter weather and have been pelted on these forums all season by others commenting. Where are those people today? Not here yet I guess. So, let me say it for them: YOU LIVE IN WISCONSIN, PEOPLE. IT SNOWS HERE! GET OVER IT!! (With that said, I still dislike winter weather.)

Who scheduled this storm? A snow day on Saturday is worthless if you don't work on weekends.
I'm going to need a bailout.

Maybe the snow will avoid Wisconsin if Doyle imposes a tax on it.
