UPDATE: Fire out at United Ethanol
MILTON--Spontaneous combustion in wet corn started a fire in an underground conveyor system at United Ethanol, according to a spokesman at the Milton Fire Department.
Milton and Edgerton fire departments responded at 6:05 a.m. to the plant, 1250 Chicago St.
The fire was knocked down within 15 minutes, but firefighters remained on scene for nearly two hours.

If this was an egg conveyor belt, I doubt it would have caught fire. But there is corn in eggs, so there is at some point when corn becomes not flamable. Really makes you think.
