Board suspends Wis. chiropractor over violations
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A southwestern Wisconsin chiropractor has been suspended for one year for a series of state rule violations.
The Chiropractic Examining Board says Judith Yager of Cobb is suspended beginning September 1.
The board says Yager practiced while her license was lapsed in early 2005, used a banned device to treat patients, and brought a chiropractor who was not licensed in Wisconsin to her clinic to adjust patients.
The board also found Yager provided investigators with false information and improperly engaged in a romantic relationship with a patient in 2000.
Yager can petition for a stay of the suspension after six months if she takes several steps outlined by the board.

Please do not judge all chiropractors by the actions of a few. Obviously their own governing board is active enough to take action against those who cross the line. There are many fine chiropractors in the area, clients simply need to make the effort, doing research to find a chiropractor they feel comfortable with and follow their advice.
I believe that a good chiropractor will not only make the necessary adjustments, they will also let you know what you can do to help yourself stay healthy-like back exercises, etc.
