Doyle to announce campaign plans Monday
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle’s office has released a statement saying he plans to make an announcement about his future on Monday.
Doyle has not said whether he would seek a third term because he has not committed to running. Speculation has swirled that he may not.
Doyle spokeswoman Carol Andrews would not comment beyond the one-sentence statement issued Saturday afternoon.
Doyle has been raising money for a potential race. There is a crowded field of Republican candidates, including Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker and former U.S. Rep. Mark Neumann.
Should Doyle not run, expected Democratic candidates include U.S. Rep. Ron Kind, Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

I'd be excited about the prospect of no more Doyle but I still realize the absolute stupidity of the Wisconsin voter and have no faith that they won't sentence me to another 4 years of a tax and spend democrat.
