DARIEN—The Darien Village Board will meet in closed session at 7 p.m. Tuesday night with fired Police Chief Steve DeVoy at the Darien Public Library, 47 Park St.

DeVoy was fired March 7, although a hearing has been pending to make the board’s action official. He has been suspended with pay since December.

A hearing had been scheduled at the end of July, but was postponed to give attorneys for both sides time to negotiate.
