WEST ALLIS—Another band performing at the Wisconsin State Fair has faced a tragedy and their performance is uncertain.

The tour bus of Christian rock band MercyMe collided with a car in northeastern Indiana early Saturday. Two passengers in the car were killed as was the pregnant car driver's unborn baby. The band was not injured.

They were scheduled to perform at the Wisconsin fair in suburban Milwaukee Monday. The band already rescheduled their Saturday show in the St. Louis area.

In an e-mail Saturday, fair spokeswoman Patrice Harris said she was looking into the show's status.

Country singer Billy Currington canceled his Saturday appearance at the fair after his stage collapsed in Canada Aug. 1. One person was killed and 75 injured. Keith Anderson was to replace him for the show.

I watched them play at the Parkview Field in Fort Wayne that night, they gave an awesome concert as they always do, I guess a car turned into them. So sorry for them and the families of the people who passed...god bless

Wow! They're all in my thoughts and prayers. I love MercyMe.
