Two lanes of Milwaukee Street to close

The two eastbound lanes on East Milwaukee Street at Martin Road are scheduled to close to through traffic at 8 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the city of Janesville.

Traffic flow will be maintained, but restricted and to a single lane in each direction. All lanes are expected to be open by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The construction will provide improvements to the city's water system. The work is being completed under contract for the city. For more information, contact the City of Janesville Engineering Division at 755-3166.

Suggest removal

Road work still not done as of Thursday evening and as of 6:00pm Wednesday had not even been started, I guess they missed it by a day or two....... The weather was perfect this week I wonder what happened.......
