controlledchaos: My apologies to you, and anyone else who may have been offended by my off-base and insensitive remark. I know from personal experience that a house fire can be a devastating experience, and I have nothing but respect for our trained responders. And if I should ever need them, the Turtle Department will be weclomed with open arms, NO MATTER HOW LONG it takes for them to get here :O)

"No injuries were reported"
That is first and foremost. I lost many possessions in a house fire many years ago but I learned to accept and deal with that. Not fun, but thankfully, no one was injured. I empathize with the people who may have lost possessions in this fire and I hope you have insurance. I mean that sincerely. But, I have to admit, I chuckled about SuperDave’s turtle comment. I appreciate a good sense of humor. It helps us survive in this crazy world. JMO

I get your humor SuperDave. For the rest of you...turtles are known for being slow, just like your minds.
