Former Rock County man sentenced in federal court
MADISON -- A former Rock County man was sentenced in U.S. District Court this afternoon to seven years in prison for illegally re-entering the United States.
Mario Salas-Rodriguez, 40, a Mexico citizen, was deported after his 1992 conviction in Rock County Court for cocaine distribution, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office news release.
He was found in the United States in 2006 when he was arrested in Rock County for drunken driving, according to the news release.
