From the WCLO newsroom:

Severe weather is serious business according to Rock County's Emergency Management Coordinator.

Shirley Connors says the media has helped build awareness about the danger of severe weather. April 20-24 is Wisconsin Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week, and Connors urges everyone to review their emergency plans. Connors says Wisconsin had 38 confirmed tornadoes last year.

A mock tornado drill is planned for Thursday.

This is the Rock County Emergency Management page as well:

.
As far as I know, the testing time and policies apply to all parts of the county. I don't think the information Zippy linked to is valid any longer. The systems are integrated and other city pages indicate the city is under the county's system.

Here's a blurb from the City's webpage:

Can the Gazette find out when Rock Co activates it's sirens? Is it when a tornado is actually confirmed on the ground? or when conditions exist? We need more to this story.
