Recreation department expects busy summer
From the WCLO newsroom:
The Janesville City Recreation Department is bracing for a big demand on services this summer.
Director Bonnie Davis says the economy may prompt many families to limit vacation spending and look for activities closer to home. Davis says her department is planning ahead to meet as much of the need as possible.
Davis is also entertaining ideas to fill the void left by the cancellation of the Beloit/Janesville Symphony's Independence Day performance.
