Walgreens also has a prescription savings plan where you can get a 90-day supply for $12 on over 400 generic meds. It sounds similar to Target and Walmart

Too much competition in the pharmacy business. Just give me my medications! Of course, I'm loyal to Walgreens since my sister and her family are financially supported by Walgreens' corporate with a job there.

There is already a sign at Logli's welcoming former CVS pharmacy customers.

This story gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Their jobs went south on them." I've only been in the CVS in Creston Park once or twice. It's more convenient to get into and out of the Walgreens at the corner of Milton Avenue & Blackbridge Road. Just that short drive along the strip mall or going down half-way down Creston Park Drive and turning in there makes a big difference in visibility and impulse traffic.

I agree~~at least they still have jobs. I think it says a lot about a company that doesn't just fire everyone and gives them the opportunity to transfer to their new store. There are many companies that wouldn't do this. They'd fire everyone and start off with new hires~~cheaper wages with new hires, no senority for any of them (no vacation time to pay out), etc.

I hope the CVS on Court Street will increase their pharmacy hours for people.
