TOWN OF BRISTOL — Dane County authorities say a male has died after being crushed by a large trailer.

The sheriff’s office says it happened Saturday about 10:45 a.m. at a Town of Bristol home.

Deputies say the male was apparently working under the trailer, which was supported by jacks. The weight of the trailer caused the jacks to shift and the trailer fell, crushing him.

Authorities say there was no indication of foul play. The incident is being treated as an accident.

The male’s name hasn’t been released.

I feel for the family of this man. A similar thing happened to my brother about two years ago, thankfully he survived, barely. My thoughts are with this family through this horrible time.
