Darien records release delayed
ELKHORN--The release of records from the computer of fired Darien Police Chief Steve DeVoy was delayed today for at least 24 hours.
Walworth County Judge Robert Kennedy has set a hearing for 1:30 p.m. Friday on the matter.
The Janesville Gazette planned this afternoon to view thousands of documents compiled in an investigation that led the village board to fire DeVoy on March 7.
On Wednesday, DeVoy’s attorneys wrote Kennedy objecting to the release of the records.
The documents support the board's reasons for firing DeVoy, officials have said.

Has anyone requested credit card statements to see where Darien President, and other officials that has been spending your money. like 400.00 dinners that another community has uncovered ? somebody should think about this.
