Local officials promote awareness of Charter changes
Changes to Charter cable's public access channels are scheduled to happen Tuesday.
Beloit Assistant City Manager Steve Gregg says there are a number of new Charter channels beginning September 30. Gregg says if you're currently a Charter customer you'll just have to punch in channel 98 or 96 instead of having to buy anything extra. It impacts both city and school district channels.
The Janesville School District issues a similar announcement: the school district channel will move to analog channel 96 and digital channel 993.
