Wis. Democrats announce economic plan
MADISON (AP) Democrats say they'll push economic legislation that includes more investments in renewable energy if they retake the state Assembly from Republicans in November's elections.
Rep. Mark Pocan, a Madison Democrat, says his party wants to spend $30 million on the state's energy independence grant program and create a 25 percent tax credit for energy research and development.
They also want to bar the state from contracting with companies that send jobs overseas and double spending on a program that helps businesses with manufacturing training. They want to require oil companies and Wall Street businesses that generate money in Wisconsin to disclose their taxes, too.
A spokesman for Assembly Speaker Mike Huebsch, a West Salem Republican, had no immediate comment.

Notice if the Democrats overtake the legislature they threaten to increase money to industrial 500 foot wind turbines. The wind turbines are not self supporting the taxpayer gives money to build them and then pays for the power too.
The energy company uses carbon credit from wind energy and continues to burn coal for most of the energy produce. How can we be so stupid???
Taxpayers are really needing information.
