Janesville police respond to armed robbery

JANESVILLE—The Janesville Police Department is responding to a report of an armed robbery at The Liquor Cabinet, 1924 E. Milwaukee St., Janesville, according to Rock County Communications dispatch reports.

The call came in at 8:34 p.m.

A man fled the scene with a handgun, according to dispatchers. It is unknown at this time if the man took anything from the store.

Description would be cool and i have a scanner and alot of the reported crimes dont hit the paper! Tho there is some reported not verified many are and notta in paper. As to locking up car and getting better lighting why? they will break the windows and if at night by the time you get up they are GONE and lighting dont make a difference to them.

When I was working last night (around the same place as the Liquor Cabinet) the police came in looking for a "suspect" around nine. I'm sure glad I didn't know what it was for, I would have been afraid to work.

Nothing in the news about the 30 plus homes (near Criag HS) with cars that were broken into Friday night. If you don't already, lock everything and get some good lighting.

you serious?
people have been robbing and stealing for booze and drugs since booze and drugs have been around.
tough times or good times, it's the habit that creates the urge for the fix.
