Former library employee arraigned in Walworth County Court
ELKHORN -- A fired Lake Geneva Public Library employee pleaded not guilty Thursday to accusations she stole $18,500 from the library and charged about $70,000 on its credit card for personal purchases.
Mercedes Mogensen, 44, Elkhorn, was arraigned in Walworth County Court on two felony charges of theft and two felony charges of misconduct.
Mogensen is free on a signature bond and is due in court next on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

HOLY COW! “charged about $70,000 on its credit card for personal purchases.” $70,000.
I wonder what the credit card limit is for that library!
