Humana to pay $750,000 to resolve Wis. complaints
MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ Humana Insurance Co. has agreed to pay the state of Wisconsin $750,000 to settle complaints about its marketing and other practices.
Insurance Commissioner Sean Dilweg says the settlement will protect seniors from problems related to the company's aggressive marketing of its Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D products.
He says it also resolves long-standing complaints about the company's handling of claims, customer service and underwriting practices.
The company denies any wrongdoing in the settlement, but state regulators say it has agreed to correct problems they identified.

Humana was one of the story lines in the Michael Moore movie, Sicko. They didn't release the movie until the women who spoke out against Humana had her baby and she was then able to quit her job. She worked at Humana and saw the problems first hand.
Rent it.

I used to work helping seniors decide who they wanted to go with for medicare part D,and I do believe Humana is a part of Walmart if I do remember correctly. Does this not say it all?
I did not choose for them, everyone has to make their own choice.
