Wis. officials: Nader has ballot signatures
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin election officials say independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader has enough signatures to get on the November ballot.
Nader’s campaign turned in a stack of signatures to the state Government Accountability Board on Tuesday. Board officials say he’s got 3,938 names that appear to be valid. He needs 2,000 to get on the ballot.
The board will accept challenges to the signatures until the end of the day Friday.
