GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The Green Bay City Council has approved an ordinance requiring scalpers to buy a permit to sell tickets outside Lambeau Field.

Scalpers will need an $800 permit to sell tickets on game day and must do so in a designated area east of the stadium.

The ordinance passed by the council Tuesday doesn’t affect original ticket holders or anyone selling their tickets at face value.

The Packers open the regular season Monday in Green Bay against the Minnesota Vikings.
