7 men charged in NE Wisconsin burglaries
GREEN BAY -- Seven Green Bay men face charges in a burglary ring blamed for hitting more than a dozen northeastern Wisconsin businesses since August.
Chief Deputy John Gossage of the Brown County Sheriff's Department said a tip led officers to run surveillance on two men, and a traffic stop led to the discovery of masks and a pickaxe used to smash store doors.
Charges filed Friday involved break-ins at a Green Bay service station Oct. 21, a liquor store in Allouez Oct. 25 where an automated teller machine was taken, a sandwich shop in Howard Monday and a Peshtigo sports shop Tuesday.
Gossage said the men are suspects in at least 14 burglaries in Brown, Outagamie and Marinette counties. Investigators are checking possible connections to crimes in Calumet, Manitowoc, Oconto and Shawano counties.

The "share the wealth" dosen't mean just taxes. It means corporations...If corporations would open the purse strings, & hire as many as they can without putting themselves out of business, Pay as much as they can, without putting themselves out of business, & Charge as LITTLE as they can, without putting themselves out of business, our economy would bounce back in a matter of days.

I would say that zero ATM machines were stolen/broken into in the depression of 1929. Just a guess. ;)

It would be interesting to have some statistics on happenings like these in the 1929 depression. Wonder if this happened then. Anybody know?

As the economy gets worse this stuff will happen more frequently, not justifying it in any way, just a side effect of hard times...jmo
