3 killed in Dane County crash
MADISON, Wis. (AP) Three people, including a baby, have died in a two-car crash in northern Dane County.
The sheriff's department says one car was traveling west on Highway V west of DeForest shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday when another car tried to make a U-turn directly in front of it and the two vehicles collided.
All three occupants of the car making the U-turn died at the scene. The driver and front-seat passenger who died weren't wearing seat belts. The baby was in the back, restrained in a child safety seat.
The driver of the other car, alone in the vehicle, was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital.
