MILWAUKEE — Police are investigating after a man and woman were found dead in a Milwaukee residence.

Authorities said relatives had been unable to reach the 25-year-old woman and her 24-year-old boyfriend since Thursday.

Police said a relative went to the home, couldn't get in and got the landlord, who found the bodies and called authorities.

According to police, the deaths are being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.

kbunge, it's sad that you felt the need to explain why you had news in your paper. Though it is always sad to see, when such out of the ordinary deaths cease to become "news" because they are so commonplace and are too frequent to "print" them all, it will be a very scary (scarier?)time.

To those of you questioning why a story about a Milwaukee couple found dead in their home "ended up in our paper":

I posted this story from the Associated Press wire because the weekend staff rely on news from around the state to populate GazetteXtra.com when there is little going on locally.

I thought MaysasMama was kidding-was being facetious because of the previous 2 comments. Could he/she possibly be serious when asking "Why should we care about Mr&Mrs Nobody when Suzie Bigtime's family just met the same fate?"
That would be way beyond belief!

Who needs to focus attention? Why? Have they called for our help?

Not to be insensitive, but why are we focusing on this story when Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were found dead in their home Friday and her 7 year old nephew is missing? We need to focus our attention and prayers elsewhere right now.

Why did we get an article about Milwaukee in our paper? I feel terrible for this family, but I don't understand why this ended up in our paper with NO INFO at all.

What is the purpose of this article? Worthless noninformative filler. I expect more, in upbeat, informative and local from my paper.

Very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the couple.
