McCain gaining on Obama -- in costumes

MILWAUKEE (AP) — John McCain is catching up to Barack Obama in Wisconsin by at least one measure — Halloween masks.

Obama masks were popular here earlier this month, but a price-comparison Web site says there’s been growing interest in McCain masks.

Sortprice.com says the Republican’s masks were among those sought most frequently within the last week. Other popular costumes included Batman and pirates.

Kids have been interested in Batman, Hannah Montana and Indiana Jones outfits.

The top three in the Web site’s funny-costume category are a pimp, an adult baby and President Bush.

The rankings are based on Internet searches from Wisconsin-based computers, not actual sales. That’s because sortprice.com lists merchandise for other companies but doesn’t make sales itself.

McCain masks are selling more than Obama... that doesn't surprise me one bit... without trying to sound bias, what white man/woman would want to go out looking black?? if I'm not mistaken it was either MTV or VH1 that had a show that had a black man/woman made over to appear and feel how the white community felt, and vise versa... it wasn't very long lived... it's bad enough that us "white folks" are more or less the minority now...

I would put also like how many woman dress up like superMAN, and how many men dress up like wonder woman. Not many. Why? Do men not like women? No it would be just weird.

If I am stupid then take a survey of how many shafts, blades, oprahs, cat womens like Hailey, and any other figures that are black I am lost for a any others show up at a party, or your door. Then on the same hand how many black people would want to dress up like a white person, not many either.

That does not surprise me. Does it you? Seriously Gazette would you really think a white boy would want to look black.
