NEENAH, Wis. (AP) A 16-year-old Neenah boy has been arrested in the death of his father.

The teenager's arrest Sunday by the Neenah Police Department's SWAT team came hours after the body of a man was found in a car parked just south of the city at Lakeview School.

Lt. Jeff Malcore says the SWAT team apparently took the boy by surprise in making the arrest at the family's apartment.

Malcore says a girl about the same age was taken into custody for questioning.

If they have these statements about his plans, that would be enough for an arrest.

Did the friends know about the plan before he so called carried the plan out??? This is just sooooo sad. To think you grow to hate the person that gave you life, so much that you want to kill them....just sick

So what if I was assuming? It was just a suggestion. We don't know what really happened and I have every right to wonder what happened and come to my own conclusions until the real story comes out. Sorry for typing what I think! And I never said it was what happened.

this kid is in my class and only comes to school a few times a week. He is really creepy and dresses in Gothic clothes and i guess he strangled his dad while he was sleeping and drove him to lakeview school

Even after reading the link in janesvillian's comment, this is a very sketchy story. They have to have something that brought them to the son. I would hope that if one of my parents was found dead somewhere they wouldn't arrest me just because I'm their daughter. It will be interesting to see the rest of this story. It will probably be something like the father wouldn't let the son do something so the son freaked out and killed him. I wonder where his mother is.

I agree the comments were getting pretty ridiculous in the first article. It's life unshielded, and I like to see the entire spectrum of comments. It takes courage to allow free comments, just like it takes courage to allow Citizens to choose their own government.

I am just glad the PRO-Popers couldn't point their guns at us through the computer! :)

The comments on that article were getting increasingly personal, sannio -- so I'm not surprised.

I'd rather comment on Jacob Pope, but the comment section has been disabled for that article for some completely arbitrary reason.
