7 absentee ballots challenged in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE — Seven absentee ballots have been challenged in Milwaukee based on concerns about whether the voters are Wisconsin residents.
Milwaukee Police Detective Mike Sandvick says he earlier discovered the discrepancies with the ballots while he was on duty, but he challenged them as a citizen because he’s off duty Tuesday.
Sandvick's questions about the ballots arose during a criminal investigation.
Milwaukee County assistant district attorney Bruce Landgraf, who handles election-related cases, said voters who cast three of the disputed ballots voluntarily withdrew them. He said the four others are under investigation.
Landgraf said a command post staffed by prosecutors, police officers, state justice agents and others received numerous calls today, but he knew of no serious issues arising at the polls as of 11:30 a.m.

"voters who cast three of the disputed ballots voluntarily withdrew them". Thats like saying the people that robbed the bank gave the money back and we let them go.
