At 5 p.m. today the slow no-wake ban will be removed on waters of the Rock River in the City of Janesville and the town of Janesville.

The speed ban has been in place since March as a result of flood conditions.

This area of the Rock River is confined within its banks and damage to private property or river shorelines has been minimized.

For questions contact the City of Janesville park division at (608) 755-3026.
