Fatal crash victim ID released
From the WCLO newsroom:
A Beloit woman is identified as the victim of Wednesday's fatal one car crash in the Town of Turtle.
The Rock County Sheriff's Department says 22-year-old Katherine Fernihough was pronounced dead at the scene of severe head trauma. She was ejected from the car after it struck a tree.
The driver, 23-year-old Richard Bennett of Janesville is facing charges of operating while intoxicated and homicide by the intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.

a 'fatal ONE CAR crash' is no accident. if you dont have a safe ride home from the bar...DONT GO TO THE BAR. it really is THAT simple but people in general dont like to be told they cant do something, and believe it or not but people who drink and drive in some warped way feel like they are accomplishing something.

one guy in the paper today 'freaks' out an kills his mom at least in part from the LEGAL prescription meds and the tragedy of this young girl losing her life and the young man who is guilty, but now must live with this FOREVER. yet im a criminal cuz i like to smoke pot. when was the last time you saw either one of these stories with pot as the ONLY drug of choice.....

oh boy, these are the stories that rip my heart out. That poor family to lose a daughter over someone driving drunk. It is a shame and it is so, so horrible for that family.
