CLINTON—The Clinton School District and teachers union have a tentative agreement on the 2007-2009 contract, board President Randy Gracyalny said Friday.

Gracyalny would not share contract details because the teachers and board have not seen them.

The district had a mediation session May 19 and agreed on part of the contract. Other details were finalized over the phone during the week, Gracyalny said.

What? No comments on this? I guess the only teachers that gazette readers despise are Janesville teachers.

I congratulate the Clinton teachers for doing a great job all school despite not having a contract. I hope the Clinton school board recognizes that next fall when negotiations begin for the next contract.
