From the WCLO newsroom:

A movement is under way at Janesville's Italian House restaurant to "save the wall".

Shortly after announcing plans to relocate into the old Hardee's restaurant next door, owner Edmund Halabi says people became very interested in what's going to happen to a wall inside the restaurant. The wall has been signed by Craig High School students for two decades.

Halabi says he's getting plenty of proposals on ways to preserve the memories. A decision will need to be made soon, Halabi hopes to have renovations at his new restaurant complete by July.

I too frequented the Italian House - and signed the wall - as a kid out on lunch.

Great Big Pictures in Madison can take pictures, then enlarge the photos the size of the wall, and apply it like wall paper in the Hardees location.

Mr. Gorbachev - photo-copy this wall.
