Milton Fire Department battling car fire
The Milton Fire Department and Rock County Sheriff's Department have responded to a traffic accident and car fire at County N and Highway 59, Milton Township.
A call came in for a one-vehicle accident with injury at 6:32 p.m., a Rock County dispatcher said. Scanner reports said the car fire is very close to a building.

DanHartung..I agree that if it is a Blog it should not be given the same credibility as a newspaper article. The problem is that the Gazette implies that it has the same credibility by placing the heading on their home page under News and by so doing no longer makes it a Blog in my opinion.
I choose the article because I believed it was an investigative report not just a blog of the scanner chatter.

I believe this is a blog, not a news story, as the url and top of page confirm. Not everybody has a scanner.

I applaude the Gazette for posting any story at 7:33 on a Sunday evening. It may be a much bigger news story that they report on in the future. Somebody is working at the Gazette tonight. Thanks.

you know if the gazette doesn't report stuff people complain about that, and when they do report stuff it seems the same people are complaining about that! Some people will never be happy no matter what!

woopty do!!! who cares!! I got that much info from the scanner. Maybe the gazette will get an award for being first to report!!
