Travel deteriorates, schools closed
UNDATED (AP) - Heavy snow is disrupting Easter travel plans in southern Wisconsin.
Snowfall totals are adding up quickly and could reach 10 to 15 inches in far southern regions.
Gusts of 15 to 30 miles per hour are expected near Lake Michigan, creating blizzard-like conditions.
Some schools that weren't closed for spring break, canceled classes because of the storm. Nearly two dozen churches in Milwaukee County have canceled Good Friday services.
The state's largest airport, Mitchell International in Milwaukee County, temporarily closed to clear its commercial runways.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for most of southern Wisconsin.
