New Glarus Brewing building 2nd brewery
NEW GLARUS, Wis. (AP) - New Glarus Brewing Company is an exception to the rule.
As larger brewers consolidate or trim operations, New Glarus Brewing continues to grow and is building a second brewery.
As the original facility, the new $20 million brewery will be located in New Glarus, population 1,290.
New Glarus Brewing's products, including Spotted Cow and Fat Squirrel, are sold only in Wisconsin.
The company was founded in 1993 by Deb and Dan Carey. Last year, it posted volume sales of 65,000 barrels, compared with about 14,000 barrels five years earlier.

My thoughts exactly. Spotted Cow is a respected micro-brew even outside of Wisconsin.

Hopefully, they can expand to other states now. I love the Spotted Cow!
